AGTTGP-NA SPONSORS MEDICAL OUTREACH/RELIEF PROGRAM IN GHANA

In the aftermath of the August 2007 devastating flooding that engulfed several communities in the three northern regions of Ghana, AGTTGP-NA collaborated with IDBGA-GH to provide medical and food relief to the affected communities. AGTTGP-NA donated amount of $3,400 in support of a medical outreach/relief program.

On March 23, 2008, a team of eight members of IDBGA-GH including two medical doctors arrived at Daboya, a small town in the Northern Region of Ghana that was judged to deserve much attention and provided relief items and medical service to the flood victims. Items donated included food items, mosquito nets, and medicines. The team was supported by the Medical Assistant and staff of the Doboya Health Post.
